Brindle and Dubendorf Genova advance in commercial lending roles

North Adams, MA – Robert Fraser, Chief Operating Officer for MountainOne Bank, has announced two promotions in the Bank’s Commercial Lending Department. Paul Brindle has been named Vice President, Commercial Banking Team Leader for MountainOne Bank’s western Massachusetts team, and Kathryn Dubendorf Genova has promoted to Commercial Loan Officer.

According to Fraser, “These appointments demonstrate MountainOne’s commitment to the Berkshire County market. Paul’s years of experience in the market and leadership skills provide the foundation upon which to guide our western MA commercial banking team in their business development efforts.” And, “Katie has demonstrated an ability to develop and nurture new business relationships, and this promotion is reflective of her success.”

As Team Leader, Brindle will oversee the western MA Commercial Lending Team, providing leadership and direction. He will continue to be responsible for commercial loan portfolio growth, as well as for commercial deposit sales and affiliate referrals. He is located in the MountainOne Financial Center office on Silver Lake Boulevard in Pittsfield. Prior to joining MountainOne, Brindle served as Vice President of Commercial Lending at Berkshire Bank, and also held a similar position at Key Bank.

Brindle holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management and Finance from the University of Massachusetts. In the community, he has served in a variety of capacities for several Berkshire County youth organizations. Brindle lives in Pittsfield with his wife, Laurie, and their two children.

As a Commercial Loan Officer, Dubendorf Genova will work to grow MountainOne Bank’s Commercial Loan portfolio, as well as cultivate new and existing loan relationships. She is located in the MountainOne Financial Center office in North Adams.

Dubendorf Genova served previously as a Credit Analyst. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Connecticut College, and will complete the American Bankers Association Stonier Graduate School of Banking in 2014. In the community, Dubendorf Genova is an academic mentor for Greylock ABC and a graduate of the Berkshire Leadership Program. She is a former board member for the Berkshire Chamber Youth Leadership Program and was an assistant coach for youth ice hockey. She lives in Williamstown with her husband, Matt, and they are expecting their first child.
