MountainOne to Re-open Former Williamstown Financial Center Site

Tuesday, November 18, 2014

North Adams, MA – MountainOne Financial has taken the property located at 296 Main Street, Williamstown, formerly known as the Williamstown Financial Center, off the market and will now utilize the property to support the growth of its divisions, TrueNorth Financial and Coakley, Pierpan, Dolan & Collins (CPDC), according to an announcement by Robert Fraser, MountainOne President and CEO.  Additionally, MountainOne Bank plans to install a new 24-hour drive-up ATM at the location.

Stated Fraser, “We are constantly evaluating how best to serve our customers and it was determined that providing additional physical access in Williamstown for our TrueNorth Financial and CPDC customers was of paramount importance. These MountainOne companies continue to grow, and they simply need more space and increased visibility. We will continue to have representatives of both companies at our Financial Center located in the Williamstown Savings Bank Building at 795 Main Street.”

MountainOne currently owns the 296 Main Street location. Following interior renovations, TrueNorth Financial and CPDC will occupy the west side of the first floor, leaving half of the first floor and the entire second floor available for professional space. Once renovations have been completed, TrueNorth Financial and CPDC expect to occupy their new space in early 2015.

MountainOne Bank also plans to install a 24-hour ATM on the site, pending regulatory approval. Fraser noted, “This additional ATM location will offer added convenience to our bank customers in Williamstown. Reopening financial services in this highly visible location is a strong signal to the residents and businesses of Williamstown that we are focused on bringing value to the local community.”
