North Adams, MA – Donna Bishop has been appointed Vice President of Commercial Lines and Matt Genova has been named Vice President of Agency Operations, according to Coakley, Pierpan, Dolan & Collins (CPDC) President Tim Dolan. CPDC is a Division of MountainOne Bank.
According to Dolan, “these promotions reflect the contributions Donna and Matt have made to the growth of our agency. They understand our market and the needs of our customers, and will work to assure our continued success.”
Bishop joined CPDC in 2002 as a Commercial Lines Account Manager, serving most recently as Insurance Operations Manager. She has over 30 years in the insurance industry. In her new position, she will be responsible for servicing the agency’s largest commercial accounts, as well as for managing the Commercial Lines Operations team.
Bishop holds numerous industry designations, including Certified Insurance Counselor, Certified Professional Insurance Woman, Certified Insurance Services Representative, and Certified Risk Manager. She is an active member of P.E.O. Chapter T in Pittsfield and volunteers as the Treasurer for First Congregational Church of Dalton. She lives in Lanesborough with her husband, Rick; they have three grown children.
Genova joined CPDC in 2009 as a Commercial Lines Account Executive. In his new role, he will be responsible for all Personal Lines Operations, Information Technology, as well as agency marketing and support functions. He will also manage relationships with CPDC’s insurance carriers.
Genova holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Colorado, and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts. He has also earned the designation of Accredited Advisor in Insurance. He resides in Williamstown with his wife, Kathryn, and their daughter, Anna.
