Community Banking Officer Named for MountainOne Bank’s New Danvers Office

Danvers, MA – MountainOne Bank has appointed Nellie Homen as Community Banking Officer for its newest branch office, located in Danvers, MA, according to an announcement by Mary Morrow, MountainOne Bank Vice President for Community Banking.

“Nellie has a deep knowledge of finance and banking, and an impressive history of accomplishments,” Morrow said. “She is an enthusiastic leader and has strong ties to the local community, which makes her a perfect fit for managing this new full-service, high-tech office.”

The new MountainOne Bank office is located at 140 Commonwealth Ave. in Danvers, across from the Liberty Tree Mall. An official ribbon-cutting ceremony to open the branch to the public will be held on Friday, January 23 at 10 am.

Homen is charged with developing the deposit base in Danvers and the North Shore market. In addition to community outreach and involvement, she will also have responsibility for building her customer service team and implementing a sales program.

Homen brings over 28 years of banking experience to MountainOne, having held positions of increasing responsibility in both deposit and lending roles at other North Shore banks. She holds a number of banking professional certificates and a Lending Associate degree from the Banking Administration Institute (BAI). Homen is also active with the North Shore Consumer Credit Association. She lives in Peabody, MA, with her partner, John, and their four children.
