About NeighborWorks® Housing Solutions

NeighborWorks® Housing Solutions (NHS) is a housing service provider that provides services to more than 20,000 households in over 75 cities and towns across the region. In addition to building and managing nearly 900 units of housing for veterans, families, the elderly, formerly homeless individuals, and others in need, NHS offers a wide range of housing services, including foreclosure prevention counseling, home rehabilitation loans and grants, financial coaching and first-time homebuyer workshop, and resources for those facing housing insecurity.

BOOK DRIVE DETAILS: MountainOne is collecting new and gently used books that will provide comfort, joy, and support for the many people who are living in one of NeighborWorks’ homes.

Specific genera of books NeighborWorks is looking for includes:

  • Adult cook books
  • Early learning books (ages pre-K to Kindergarten)
  • Young adult fiction
  • Young adult non-fiction
  • Young reader non-fiction (ex. “I Survived” series, “Who Was?” series)
  • Young reader fiction
  • Classic novels
  • Children’s books (ex. Little Golden Books, Serendipity books, or others)
  • Adult non-fiction
  • Adult fiction

Please no text books.

Please drop off your new and gently used book donations at one of our South Shore branches (Quincy, Rockland, Scituate) by September 15, 2023.
