MountainOne announces that in the first and second quarters of 2025, it distributed $234,000 in donations and sponsorships to not-for-profit organizations across the Berkshires, Pioneer Valley, and the South Shore.
The contributions underscore MountainOne’s unwavering dedication to strengthening the communities it serves. Through its support of those driving positive change, MountainOne affirms its belief that investing in purpose-driven organizations lays the groundwork for more dynamic, inclusive, and resilient communities.
Organizations supported by MountainOne during the first and second quarters of 2025 include:
- Hillcrest Educational Centers – $25,500 for ongoing support of the annual Golf Classic, Irish Person of the Year Awards, and Farmers Market booth.
- South Shore Health System – $10,000 to support its health care system at the Presidents Circle level.
- Community Access to the Arts (CATA) – $5,000 to support programs with disability-based agencies that promote the right of all people with disabilities to express themselves creatively and artistically.
- 18 Degrees/Kids 4 Harmony – $5,000 to support their annual Gala Concert fundraising event to ensure music lessons are offered at no cost to disadvantaged families.
- MassHire Berkshire Youth Works – $4,500 to support youth internships in North Adams.
- Cardinal Cushing Centers – $2,500 to support individuals with intellectual disabilities, promoting independence and fulfilling relationships.
- Interfaith Social Services – $2,500 to support Stop the Stigma, which provides mental health counseling to help individuals lead healthy and fulfilling lives.
- South Shore Habitat for Humanity – $2,500 to support critical home repairs for seniors and veterans.
- Plymouth Public Library – $2,500 to support its annual golf tournament, which raises funds for English for Speakers of Other Languages, basic literacy, and GED tutoring programs.
- Hoosic River Watershed Association – $2,500 to support conservation and restoration efforts in the Hoosic River Watershed.
- Community Legal Aid – $1,500 to support legal assistance, specifically focused on housing needs, offered to low-income families and seniors.
- Baystate Health Systems – $1,000 to support the Rays of Hope Walk & Run Toward the Cure of Breast Cancer.
- Wilbraham Friends of Recreation – $1,000 to support youth sports programs.
- South Shore YMCA – $1,000 to support camperships for underprivileged children.
