MountainOne’s executive leadership team recently attended the Massachusetts Bankers’ Association Regional Meeting, held at the Pittsfield Country Club. At the December meeting, the Massachusetts Bankers Association (MBA) Charitable Foundation awarded several large grants to local non-profits who were nominated by member banks.
MountainOne nominated the Berkshire Immigrant Center to receive one of these 2023 Community Grants, and presented the non-profit organization with the check for $5,000 at the luncheon.
Robert Fraser, President & CEO, of MountainOne, and Chair of the MBA Charitable Foundation, commented, “MountainOne chose Berkshire Immigrant Center as its nominee because of the important work they do in our community assisting immigrant families to obtain citizenship, while also providing the legal services, local resources and educational opportunities to help them thrive.”
